Hallie Baseball League
Hallie Baseball is a community-based, volunteer-run program focused on teaching the fundamentals of baseball in a fun, competitive, and positive environment. Our goal is to help players develop skills, confidence, and a love for the game while emphasizing teamwork, sportsmanship, and growth at every age. The league also serves as the foundation for our Hallie Heat travel program, providing a clear path for continued player development.
Ages
Ages range from 5-15 years old and are divided into divisions.
T-Ball: 5-6 years old
Coach Pitch: 7-8 years old
Minors: 9-10 years old
Majors: 11-12 years old
Ponies: 13-14 years old
Babe Ruth: 13-15 years old
*April 30th is the cutoff for all divisions. Your child must be in the age range of the division they are signed up for by April 30th
Registration Cost
Registration for the 2024 season (fees are subject to change each year):
T-ball: $75
Coach Pitch: $95
Minors: $115
Majors: $125
Pony Only: $95
Babe Ruth Only: $135
Pony + Babe Ruth: $195
*We do have scholarships available for those children who need them. We do not want the registration fee to prevent any child from being able to participate. Please contact HallieBBInfo@gmail.com for more information
Do I need to be a resident of Lake Hallie to register?
No, you do not need to be a resident to register. However, residents will receive a $5 discount on the registration fee.
When
Registration runs from January to the beginning of March. Registration information will be posted on our Facebook page and can be completed through the Hallie Boys Baseball website.
The draft is held in late March. Practices begin once the village opens the complex and weather conditions allow, with games starting in late April or early May and running through the end of July.
Where
Practices are typically held at Hallie Ball Park, but may be hosted at other locations based on the coach's discretion and what works best for the team.

Practices are typically held weekly.
Games
All games are held at Hallie Ball Park 1-2 times a week, beginning in May and finishing up with our end of the season tournament, Hallie Youth Days.
Jerseys
Each player is provided a team jersey and hat.
Coaches will distribute jerseys and hats during practice or before the first game.
What equipment does my child need?
Each player will need their own baseball pants, bat, glove, and cleats. Each head coach/manager is provided with an equipment bag that has helmets and catching gear.
Are concessions available at the games?
Yes, generally, there are concessions available for all games.
